• Self-Paced Courses

  • Self-paced courses come with in-built insights that can help learn module admins, instructors & domain admins to gauge the effectiveness of the training courses
  • Course insights include
    • Number of learners who are currently taking the course
    • Number of learners who have completed the course
    • Sum total training time that has been spend by learners who have completed the course
    • Average score across all learners who have completed the quiz (for courses that have a quiz)
    • Course performance in the last 7 / 15 / 30 / 90 / 6 months / this year / last year
  • Course insights are available for both ‘Mango Authored’ & ‘SCORM/xAPI’ based self-paced courses

• Instructor-Led Training (ILT/vILT)

  • ILT/vILT comes with in-built insights that can help learn module admins, instructors & domain admins to gauge the effectiveness of their instructor-led trainings
  • ILT insights include
    • Number of completed sessions of the course
    • Number of upcoming sessions of the course
    • Number of learners who have enrolled for an upcoming session of the course
    • Number of learners who have completed the course
    • Sum total training time that has been spend by learners who have completed the course
    • Course performance in the last 7 / 15 / 30 / 90 / 6 months / this year / last year
  • ILT insights is available from MangoApps Release v15.0.2

• Curriculum/Program

  • Curriculum (collection of courses) comes with in-built insights that can help learn module admins, instructors & domain admins to gauge the effectiveness of the training programs
  • Curriculum insights include
    • Number of learners who are currently taking the curriculum
    • Number of learners who have completed the curriculum
    • Sum total training time that has been spend by learners who have completed the curriculum
    • Average score across all learners who have completed the quiz (for courses that have a quiz)
    • Curriculum performance in the last 7 / 15 / 30 / 90 / 6 months / this year / last year
  • Curriculum insights for courses in them include
    • For each course in the curriculum number of learners who are currently taking the course
    • For each course in the curriculum number of learners who have completed the course
    • For each course what is the average score of the learners who have completed the course

Learner Insights

• Self-Paced Courses

  • For each learner who has been assigned to take a course / is taking a course or has completed the course there are in-built insights to gauge learner’s completion time & score
  • Top-level insights for each learner include
    • % of the course completed
    • Training time spent (based on completed chapters in the courses)
    • Completion date (if the learner has completed the course)
    • Score (if there was a quiz)
  • Deep insights for each learner include
    • Chapter insights: This is the list of all chapters in the course with the learner’s completion status for each chapter
    • Quiz insights: This is a list of all quizzes in the course with the learner’s answer for each question that they have attempted
  • Top-level learner insights are available for both ‘Mango Authored’ & ‘SCORM/xAPI’ based self-paced courses
  • Deep learner insights are available for ‘Mango Authored’ courses only

• Instructor-Led Training (ILT/vILT)

  • For each learner who has enrolled to take a course or has completed the course there are in-built insights to gauge learner’s completion time
  • Top-level insights for each learner include
    • Session enrolled/completed
    • Completion date (if the learner has completed the course)
  • ILT insights is available from MangoApps Release v15.0.2

• Curriculum/Program

  • Curriculum (collection of courses) for each learner who has been assigned to take the curriculum / is taking the curriculum /  has completed the curriculum there are in-built insights to gauge learner’s completion rate & engagement
  • Top level insights for each learner include
    • % of the curriculum completed
    • Training time spent (based on completed courses in the curriculum)
    • Completion date (if the learner has completed the curriculum)
    • Average score (if there was a quiz in one or more of the courses in the curriculum)
  • Deeper insights for each learner include
    • Steps/Courses insights: This is the list of all steps and the courses in each step along with the learner’s course completion status, start date, completion date & score (if applicable) for each course

Quiz Insights

  • Quiz insights for each course come in-built that can help learn module admins, instructors & domain admins to gauge learner’s performance
  • Quiz insights for each quiz in the course include
    • For each questions in the quiz,  the correct answer for it
    • For each learner who took the quiz, the answer they gave to each question was it correct or wrong
  • Quiz insights are available for ‘Mango Authored’ courses only

Session Insights

  • Session insights for each session in the course help learn module admins, instructors & domain admins to know the number of learners enrolled in each session
  • Session insights for each session in the course include
    • Number of learners who are enrolled in the session
    • Number of learners who have completed in the session
    • Session type & session date
  • ILT insights is available from MangoApps Release v15.0.2

• Curriculum/Program
  • Session insights are not applicable/available for curriculum/program

Additional Out-of-the-box Insights

• Views

  • Total no of views the course or curriculum has had
  • The view are tracked when a user visits the course or curriculum details page
  • Un-registered / non-logged-in user views are not counted at this time

• Ratings

  • Average rating that the course or curriculum has received from all users who have completed it
  • Ratings are only seen if the allow ratings settings is ON for the domain
  • Ratings can only be given by a user after they have completed the course/curriculum

• Export Courses List
  • You can do a export of all courses/curriculums meta data using the ‘Export Course List’ action
  • This gives a list of all published, draft & archived courses/curriculums
  • For each course it includes
    • Course code
    • Course name
    • Instructor
    • Visibility
    • Category
    • Last updated on
    • Count of in-progress learners
    • Count of completed learners
    • Total training times spent by all learners
    • Total number of times it has been viewed
    • Average score across all learners
    • Average course rating across all learners
  • These insights are accessible to domain admins & LMS admins only

Online & Downloadable Insights

• Insights are available online to view on web. All insights can also be downloaded in XLS format
• Downloadable versions (XLS) of the insights have additional columns like learner’s location, department, job title and other custom profile fields for more detailed analysis
